Pros: The Ultra Accelerator is an add-on for the extremely popular uTorrent client. Users who frequently download large Torrents will appreciate the boost that they get, especially if they are dogged by having slow and / or unreliable connections to the internet. The Ultra Accelerator not only improves download performance by increasing current download speeds but also by carrying out searches for more sources frequently. On flaky connections that disconnect and then reconnect often, it significantly improves performance by automatically and quickly resuming the downloads. It also automatically resumes paused downloads. The current configuration is saved when the program exits of the computer is shut down and this automatically reloaded on startup. The user doesn’t even need to explicitly start the uTorrent client, this is doen automatically.

Completed files and corrupted or invalid files are removed automatically, reducing clutter and improving the user experience. Overall it also maintains constant speeds over longer intervals rather reducing / increasing speed frequently and this in turn also results in better speeds over time.

Cons: The interface is a real eye-sore and does not offer any customization options. Marginal improvement is seen on faster broadband connections.
